On Today's Episode of My Podcast I Discuss the Delicate Topic of Alcoholism

Tomorrow's episode on my podcast is a very delicate topic because I am talking about addiction, and mainly this topic is about alcoholism.  

The disease of alcoholism has affected several people in my life who I love including their family members.  It's a heart breaking disease, and its insidious and it will wreak havoc on your life and the life of everyone who loves an alcoholic.  

I was in a spiral vortex with an alcoholic and we were spiraling downward. There really is no where to go but down in your entangled in any way with an alcoholic  

The saddest part about alcoholism besides betrayal, and destroying families, and the lies and deception, the financial disaster because of it think of the health of the alcoholic.  they are gambling with their health.  Actually they are not gambling, they are destroying their health one drink at a time.

Unfortunately, I have seen it time and time again with people who I care deeply for.  I would never want to see them in the health conditions they are in.  It's heartbreaking to see their health conditions were self inflicted and the result of drinking.   

In this podcast episode I talked a great deal about the importance of getting help as soon as you recognize their is a problem with the relationship with alcohol.  The early signs are there, and if you are the person who has the compulsion to always want to drink this episode may be for you.

If you are the loved one of someone who has a drinking problem you may want to listen as well., my same advice goes to you as the person with the drinking problem, and that is to seek help immediately.

You are not equipped with the tools to deal with addiction.  You need help, whether you are the drinker or the loved one of the drinker.  And the sooner you get into therapy and treatment, the sooner you will be out of this nightmare of an existence.  It isn't living, it's just existing, waiting for the next drink, and for the loved one, waiting for the next shoe to drop and what drama can the alcoholic get themselves into this tine.
